Chinese multinational tech company Huawei is expected to sell more than 10 million units after the recent launch of the phone Huawei P10 and P10 Plus. This announcement was made during the smartphone's launching event in China.

In an article posted in Gizmo China, it was stated that the Huawei P10 and P10 Plus was released with public enthusiasm with people waiting to get one. With this, the company is expecting a solid 10 million combined units debut in the tech market.

Huawei P10's predecessors, the P9 and P9 Plus, were also still selling to the public after one year since its release. The company's flagship already sold 10 million units by December last year, according to an article by WCCFTech.

With this, the Huawei P10's predecessor smartphones are still attractive for some consumers. It was reported in the last couple of months, the Android-powered smartphone maker was able to sell additional two million units. The company behind the Huawei P10 and P10 plus has been getting important milestone in terms of total worldwide sale, more thanks to the P9 and P9 Plus smartphone. Currently, Huawei is the number one smartphone maker in China and the third largest in the world after selling 12 million units.

It may not be the same part with large tech companies like Apple and Samsung in terms of sales but the Chinese company has established its part in the market and it is expected for the Huawei P10 and P10 plus to solidify it furthermore.

Huawei P10's other predecessor, the Mate 9, has also been out on the market last Nov. 2, 2016. Currently, the company has not announced its sales report and the reason could be attributed to its lower performance compared to the P9 duo handsets, according to an article by Android Headlines.
