The World Wide Developer Conference (WWDC) for this year has already begun yesterday at the San Jose Convention Center. Apple in their KeyNote announced a lot of improvements that would be on the way to all their existing devices in the market. The most important topic out of all of them is, macOS High Sierra. After a long time, Apple enthusiasts felt the major improvements and innovations that made it exciting, even for the online audience to watch.

Going into the details, the WWDC Keynote from Apple mainly concentrated on two of their primary devices, iPad, and iPhones. MacBooks too witnessed some minor hardware upgrades and decrease in prices by $200. When Craig Federighi, SVP of Software Engineering announced the new name of the OS as macOS High Sierra, even he couldn't hide his laughter. As reported by  The Verge, Apple has introduced their newly developed 'Apple File System (APFS)' that replaces the age-old HFS(Hierarchical File system).

macOS High Sierra Public beta has already begun as Apple made it available for developers to make sure their applications were already compatible with the new operating system before their next keynote commences in September. According to reports from TechCrunch Apple has also improved Apple Safari browser.

Speed, safety, and privacy are the key features of the macOS High Sierra. Apple's default browser now works faster than Google Chrome as mentioned during the event. Alongside macOS High Sierra, Apple also reduced prices for some of the entry-level MacBooks by $200, and also unveiled new models with Intel's 7th generation Kaby Lake chipsets on board.

The Photos app too, has been bettered with new editing tools built-in. macOS High Sierra will use machine learning to identify and block repetitive ads as a user navigates around the web. A major bonus is that Safari will now block autoplay of both audio and video by default. The user can then decide whether to play it or not, which really helps in saving a lot of internet data, especially for users relying on cellular data services.
