Xiaomi Mi Note 3 Leaks Show Curved Display & Dual Rear Cameras

Although the Xiaomi Mi Note 3 is not expected to launch until the 4th quarter of 2017, a new leak of the upcoming flagship phablet just surfaced. The render showed a curved display and dual rear cameras. However, like the other leaks, tech websites take the image with a grain of salt unless confirmed by its manufacturer.

But Android Headlines notes the leaked image of the Xiaomi Mi Note 3 has a resemblance to the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 which was released in October 2016. Since the Note 2 already sported a curved display, it is reasonable to expect the upcoming flagship to sport a similar screen. Below the display are a Home key and fingerprint scanner.

However, one difference between the Xiaomi Mi Note 3 and Note 2 is the dual camera setup on the back of the upcoming flagship. It is more similar to the Xiaomi Mi 6 that was recently announced. Beside the dual cameras are a dual-LED, dual-tone flash. The bezels are not on the phone’s sides but above and below the display which are not very thick.

Gizmo China writes that despite the absence of a spec sheet, it expects that the curved display of the Xiaomi Mi Note 3 will be a 5.7-inch OLED display. The tech website expects the upcoming flagship would be run by a Snapdragon 835 processor with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage.

Gizbot adds the Xiaomi Mi Note 3 is expected to have a 4,000mAh battery. Its dual-rear shooters will likely be 12 megapixels. For OS, Android Headlines says Android Nougat will be pre-installed with a Xiaomi MIUI OS or MIUI 9, depending on where the upcoming flagship phablet will be shipped.

For the price, BGR reports the 6GB and 128GB variant of the Xiaomi Mi Note 3 will sell for $599. The high-end variant that features 8GB RAM and 256GB storage will cost $699.
