Moto Z2 Play Leaked Images Spotted Showing Enhanced Features

Lenovo certainly appears to have listed on phones lined up for launch under its Moto brand, which includes the Moto Z2 Play, Moto E4, and Moto G5S. The company is also widely anticipated to launch the successor of the Moto Z Play which Lenovo recently confirmed will pack 3000mAh non-removable battery.

According to GSM Arena, ahead of any official announcement from the Chinese manufacturer, the Moto Z2 Play has been leaked in a flurry of press renders showing the handset in all its glory. A popular tipster named Roland Quandt shared the images on Twitter and claimed some details such as the Moto Z2 Play was said to be 5.99mm thick though if camera bump is included then it is 8.49mm.

Several sources leaked where Roland Quandt posted an image of the Moto Z2 Play showing a 360-degree view. The alleged Moto Z2 Play can be seen featuring an identical design as its predecessor and come with the 16-dot connector for the Moto Mods at the back.

According to Tech Radar, the front home button likely to embed the fingerprint scanner can be also seen in the leaked render alongside the Moto branding at the front. Based on the leaked renders, the Moto Z2 Play is also likely to sport an all-metal unibody.

Roland Quandt also claimed for it's another tweet to the Moto Z2 Play that the upcoming device will support previous Moto Mods announced last year including Instant Share Projector, JBL speaker, Hasselblad Camera, and Moto battery.

Based on previous speculations and reports, the Moto Z2 Play was said to sport a 5.5-inch full-HD AMOLED display; powered by a 2.2.GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 626 SoC, 64 GB inbuilt storage, and 4 GB of RAM. Recently, the Moto Z2 Play was spotted at TENNA, the Chinese certification site showing off the design.
