LG X Venture On AT&T Will Go On Sale Starting May 26, Features Android 7.0 Nougat, Quick Charge 2.0, Bigger Battery

LG X venture, the rugged smartphone exclusive to AT&T has been announced. The smartphone borrows aspects from both LG G6 and LG V20 smartphones. AT&T will be the home for the LG X venture smartphone featuring Snapdragon 435 processor and Android 7.0 Nougat OS in the United States tech market. This device will go on sale starting on Friday, May 26.

According to Betanews, the South Korean tech giant-LG mentions that the LG X venture holds many features from LG G and V series smartphones. The smartphone borrows the rear fingerprint sensor. It is reported that the smartphone carries a 5MP 120-degree wide-angle front camera and a 16MP camera rear camera with incredible sharpness.

It is reported that the LG X venture carries a heavy-duty, high-capacity 4,100mAh embedded battery. The company claims that it can last for up to 24 hours between charges and with the Quick Charge 2.0 feature, the device gets charged from empty to 50 percent in just 48 minutes.

The LG X venture is a rough and tough device carrying company's newest mass-tier smartphone designed for the users who require the phone as a tough adventure companion. It is reported that the device carries an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance and has passed 14 different MIL-STD 810G tests designed for the U.S. military. LG claims that the smartphone has a resistance to extreme temperatures, shock and it can withstand up to 30 minutes in 1.5m of water.

According to The Verge, the LG X venture sports a 5.2-inch FHD In-Cell Touch display with the 1080p resolution. Under the hood, it is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 processor and runs on Android 7.0 Nougat OS. The processor is reported to be coupled with 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of onboard that is expandable up to 2TB.

The LG X venture is 154.0 long, 75.8 wide, 9.29mm thick and weighs 166.5grams. Other features included in the smartphone are quickbutton, outdoor essentials, FM Radio, GPS, accelerometer, digital compass, gyroscope, and barometer. The device also features physical buttons and a non-slip back texture reminiscent of the V10. It is reported that AT&T will sell the LG X venture for $11 per month for 30 months.
