Sony Xperia XA1 Ultra Specs & Release: Jumbo Size Is The New Cool

Sony is looking to revive its smartphone industry after a long time. Xperia XA1 was greeted with a positive response and has settled well in the mid-range bracket. Sony is pushing the initiative with Xperia XA1 Ultra, a gigantic phone with stellar features at an affordable price tag.

Few weeks after the release of Xperia XA1 Ultra, Sony reveals a bettered and bigger version sporting a 6" display. It is rumored to enter the market in spring 2017 with a price tag under 500$ attached to it.

Sony Xperia XA1 Ultra with a jacked up snapper has a touch of elegance despite a 6" display. The device is well ahead of its predecessor with amplified features. The matte finish on the back is well accompanied by the scratch-resistant glass in front. In a report by GSM Arena, the bezels at the top and bottom make it look a little out of place given the introduction of Full vision.

Running on Android 7 Nougat, Sony Xperia XA1 Ultra will be powered by Helio P20 housing 4GB RAM in addition to 32GB internal space, as mentioned in Recombu. The device lacks an efficient battery support with a paltry 2700 mAh to its name. The device is set to be released in pink, black, white and gold.

The rear and front snappers will complete the device where the former will sport a 23MP IMX300 sensor. The latter will boast of its 8MP shooter with face detection technology. Sony Xperia XA1 Ultra's minuscule bezels and sharp design will help users to click the perfect 'selfie' without much of a fuss.

However, the lack of fingerprint sensor and a below average battery life will deter users from buying it. Sony Xperia XA1 Ultra will look to overcome the deficits with a humble price tag keeping it in the mid-range bracket. The company will pin their hopes on this particular flagship model to get back in the game.
