2017 has seen the launch of many new phones. When Motorola announced its extension to the G series, Moto G5 Plus, Blackberry decided to release KEYone.

Motorola not only comes up with Snapdragon 625 but also a decent camera. While Blackberry KEYone runs on the same OS but sports an excellent 12MP rear snapper. Moto G5 Plus has a fingerprint sensor while Blackberry has both, a fingerprint sensor and NFC with an additional physical keyboard.

Moto G5 Plus weighs 155gm with dimensions 150.2 x74 x 7.7 mm with its signature M on the back. There is a slight change in its design as compared to Moto G4 Plus. The Blackberry KEYone weighs around 180gm and measures 149.3 x 72.5 x 9.4 mm. Moreover, it features a USB- C type on the bottom of the phone with speakers on both sides. It is a little broader as compared to Moto G5 Plus.

Comparing the storage capacity as reported by Android headlines, Moto G5 Plus comes in two variants one with 32GB/2 GB and the other one with 64GB/4GB which can be expanded up to 256 GB. On the other hand, the Blackberry KEYone will be powered with 32 GB internal storage, which can be expanded up to 2TB via micro SD card. Now, coming to display, Blackberry KEYone comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 while Moto G5 Plus comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 3.

Moto G5 Plus's 5.2" display will be backed with 1080x1920 resolution. Blackberry's 4.5" display will sport a resolution of 1620x1080. Blackberry KEYone is charged with a 3505mAh battery with an all-day battery life. Motorola with its paltry 3000mAh battery will sport quick charging facility.

As mentioned in Phone bunch, the price remains to be a deciding factor. Moto G5 Plus will be capped at $229 and $279 for its two variants respectively. Blackberry KEYone will be priced at an insane $449 in the US market.

Judging by the variants and the price, Moto G5 plus has an edge over Blackberry KEYone due to standard features and an affordable pricing system. The latter will look to lure the customers with its physical keyboard and better battery backup.
