The much anticipated Galaxy S8 finally been released in certain markets around the globe few days ago, and it was not a smooth sailing after all. Several reports from the users claimed that the purchased device is experiencing weird red tint issue on the display. Apart from the display problem, others reported that their device is also having connectivity issues such as the Wi-Fi and the wireless charging.

According to The Wall Street Journal, Samsung has acknowledged the problems and will release two patches to fix the issues this week. The first one would be for the spotty Wi-Fi connections and the second is for fixing the red tint problem. Samsung also stated that these problems are not product defects and can be resolved via software update.

However, Samsung is yet to give any solid explanation regarding the wireless charging problems as claimed by various users. The complaints were made public over Samsung Support thread - pointing out that the Samsung S8 seems incompatible or do not work with their older wireless charging pads. Representatives from the Korean tech company said that "there might be an update to fix that", or the users may need another new wireless charging pad.

Samsung has taken a reasonable time prior to the introduction of its new flagship smartphones due to the disastrous explosive incidents that rendered its phablet Galaxy Note 7 being pulled out from the market last year. The company released the findings after months of research, stating that the faulty battery was the main culprit behind all of the unprecedented explosions of the Galaxy Note 7.

It seems like Samsung is being cautious when it comes to the wireless charging issue which shown by the Galaxy S8. Above all, the reported issues certainly do not bring any alarming news like the infamous Galaxy Note 7. If you are one of the affected users, make sure to turn on the update notifications so you will be able to download the patches right away as soon as they arrive to your sweet new device.
