The Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus has registered stronger pre-order sales compared to its predecessor, the Galaxy S7 series. The flagship smartphones were revealed to the public last month and they are ready to be sold in less than two weeks.

A representative from the South Korean multinational tech company, mobile business chief Koh Dong-jin, said in a statement that the pre-orders of the Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus in the US registered a strong double-digit growth in pre-order numbers compared to the Galaxy S7 series. He also noted that most pre-orders are for the Galaxy S8.

While Samsung did not tell the exact numbers of the Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus US pre-orders, Dong-jin noted the early sales performance already exceeded the Galaxy S7 and S7 Plus sales, Reuters have reported.

The pre-order sales of the Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus also indicated that the public has moved forward from the Galaxy note 7 fiascos. Axios has reported that the strong sales could mean that people are sill sticking and trusting their money with Samsung. Droid Life has also confirmed that the flagship handset has already sold more than the pre-order figures of the Galaxy Note 7.

With the strong double-digit growth sales, the Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus could be considered as the tech company's biggest and most popular handset in the history. This could also go down as the most popular Android-run smartphone ever.

The public was in awe when the Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus were revealed to the public. The smartphone is packed with several impressive specs and features like HD camera, slick display, and the introduction of voice-assistant Bixby.
