Oppo R11 News: Device Spotted On GFXBench With Android Nougat, Dual 16MP Main, 20MP Front Cameras

Oppo has already launched its first ever dual camera smartphone, the Oppo F3 Plus, but that focused mainly on selfies. The recently spotted Oppo R11 could become the first device from Oppo to have a dual cam on the rear side, as specs uncovered in the GFXBench database show that we can still expect solid selfie photography.

The smartphone listed in the GFXBench bearing the model name 'R6051' has a 5.5-inch full HD display. The benchmark has detected a 16MP main camera for the OPPO R11 as well as a 20MP selfie camera on the front side. Both the cameras are capable of 1080p video, but unfortunately not 4K support.

If the GFXBench spec listing is to be believed, then the OPPO R11 will be sporting a 5.5-inch fullHD (1920 x 1080) display, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The smartphone will be powered by the Snapdragon 650 64-bit octa-core processor, alongside the Adreno 510 GPU. The device will come running on Android 7.1 Nougat and on top of it, there will be company's custom UI, as reported by Android Headlines.

According to GSM Arena, the Oppo R11, as mentioned earlier, will be having 5.5 inches 1080p screen, but rumor has it that a Plus version will increase the diagonal to 6 inches. It's also worth mentioning that a single SIM variant of the OPPO R11 has been surfaced on GFXBench, however, there are chances that a dual SIM variant will also be available.

We should be seeing the Oppo R11 in the month of June - whether they will bring Oppo's 5x zoom dual camera or not, among other details, is anyone's guess. Apart from the GFXBench listing, there is no official information regarding the Oppo R6051 or Oppo R11. This moniker, Oppo R6051, looks like a codename and the final one could be announced at the time of its official launch.
