If you're a Xiaomi fan, you should know by now that the Chinese mega smartphone manufacturer isn't only known for its competitive products. As of late, the company has been touted to be one of the most transcendental firms that provided what should lie ahead in the world of smartphones. Case in point is its previously released, the near bezel-less Xiaomi Mi Mix. And as if that's not enough to catapult Xiaomi to its further fame, another looming feature of its forthcoming Xiaomi Mi 6 might decidedly outshine that.

BGR reported that Xiaomi Mi 6 may be coming with a massive 30-megapixel camera. The information was taken from an alleged retail box of the upcoming device. The box has outed some of the iteration's features and specifications. And while most are looking at its chipset and RAM, tech enthusiasts were all gaga over the unit's purported camera sensor. In addition, the revelation was in contrats to what has been rumored about the smartphone's dual-camera set up.

Xiaomi Mi 6's 13MP camera sensor's inclusion in the retail box has raised too many conflounding questions regarding the company's plan in the optics department. Some surmised that Xiaomi might be heading for yet another mix of dual-camera set up that is disguised under the ambitious optica offering. Other circles are thinking that the company's optical offering might be a region-specific Xiaomi Mi 6.

Xiaomi Mi 6's other speculated features and specifications include a 5.15-inch Full HD display along with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835. The retail box also revealed that the device is coming with a 128GB storage variant with a 6GB RAM. The flagship unit is also expected to come with a reliable 4,000mAh battery. The highly-anticipated smartphone is now confirmedby the company's CEO to be launched in April, as per Gizbot.
