The Moto G5 Plus is going to be release this April 4 and people are wondering if its really worth to buy the handset made by American multinational tech company. In a review of the phone, the tech expert has described it as the "King of the Budget Phones".

Ryan Whitmam of Android Police has said in his review that a user usually sacrifice a lot in terms of having better features and specs when buying a budget phone. However, the Moto G5 Plus only requires few sacrifices.

He said that the 5.2-inch LCD Moto G5 Plus has a capable hardware in order to have a smooth operatire and a good display. It couls also run accurate fingerprint sensor, clean software, build quality, and a battery life that he described as "above average".

He described the fingerprint sensor as fast, accurate, and better than other budget devices. The review also said that the battery life could last for a day.

However, Whitmam still pointed out that the phone has still some specs and features that could have been improved. He said that the Moto G5 Plus could have a better camera, as he desribed it as "lacking in low-light".

Moto G5 Plus' gaming experience is also something that the phone lacked, based on Whitman's review. He pointed out that the Snapdragon 625 is not recommended for intense games.

The design of the Moto G5 Plus was also off for Whitman with its giant camera module that he described as "a bit dopey". However, he said that the design of the phone could grow on the buyer.

Overall, Whitman said that the Moto G5 Plus could be dubbed as the "king of budget phones" as it could still have the quality features with such cheap price. The standard G5 for US is only unlocked through CDMA and GSM carriers.

The price of the Moto G5 Plus varies from $230 to $299.9. The price is quite higher than the previous year's G4 but it prices less than G4 Plus. The reviewer used a $299.99-priced phone.

In an article published in GizBot, the Moto G5 would be exclusively available in Amazon. It will be released in the US this April 4.
