When Apple announced the 'Watch Series 2' last year, it quickly turned out to be one of the most purchased hardware in the wearable segment. With a new smartwatch, Apple also improved the processing of apps in their new wearable with a new version of WatchOS. Apple has continued to bring out various commercials highlighting their products on a regular basis.

This time too isn't any different with the Cupertino firm, in their recent video highlighting all the new features offered part of the Watch Series 2. The video debuted on Friday titled "Live Bright" where they showcase actors performing various exercises, also making use of various features provided by the developer. The video also highlighted the water resistant technology implemented in the new Apple Watch Series 2.

The news covered by Apple Insider went into detail explaining how previous trailers only detailed very little features which involved more of activity in it than the highlights of all the newly included options in the Apple Watch Series 2. The report also revealed that Apple has emphasized their design among other things, part of their new marketing video released yesterday.

Meanwhile, other details from MacRumors felt that the new video not just covered its feature set or activities that it helps in facilitating its users, but also revealed its fashion side especially since smartwatches are now more of a fashion statement than actual usage of it. Apple Watch Series 2 begin at a price of US $269 and is also offered in various color choices which also include different straps, some also exclusively partnered with Italian firms.

In 2017, Apple is expected to announce a successor to the current Apple Watch Series 2 smartwatches, with the potential reveal of Apple Watch Series 3. Earlier rumors have indicated that the inclusion of LTE and VoIP is highly likely in the upcoming wearables. The leaked reports also revealed that a USB Type-C charging connector might also be implemented in the upcoming device.
