Samsung Galaxy S8 To Be Made Available In The US By April 21

The Samsung Galaxy S8 was finally shown to the public two days ago and people are now itching to get their hands on South Korean tech conglomerate's flagship phone. Pre-orders for the smartphone has already started and US customers get their phone this April 21.

In an article published in The Verge, the Samsung Galaxy S8 will be shipping in the US this April 21 and there would be two versions of it. The first version is the standard Galaxy S8 sporting a 5.8-inch screen and the other one is a larger S8 Plus with a 6.2-inch screen.

There has been no official word on the pricing of the Samsung Galaxy S8 since it mostly depends on the carrier. There are early words that the price for the handset will start at $720, as published by Tech Radar.

People have been praising the Samsung Galaxy S8, with some people calling it the best smartphone released so far. Mashable has posted that with its feature 3.5mm headphone jack, USB-C, and wireless charging, the smartphone was seen as something that would put back the company in the market.

The processor in the Samsung Galaxy S8 is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 Octa Core. It has 2.35 GHz Quad and 1.7 GHZ Quad. The display of the Samsung Galaxy S8 is 5.8-inch OLED, 2960 x 1440 and 570ppi. Meanwhile, the Galaxy S8 Plus has a bigger display with 6.2-inch OLED, 2960 x 1440 and 529ppi.

Samsung Galaxy S8 will also have a 12-megapixel, OIS, and f/1.7 rear camera. The front camera will have an 8-megapixel, autofocus, and f/1.7 features.

But what about the battery? The company assured that they have learned their lessons from the notorious events involving the predecessor of the Samsung Galaxy S8, the Galaxy Note 7. The battery of the Samsung Galaxy S8 has 3,000 mAh while the Galaxy S8 Plus has 3,500 mAh.

    The Samsung Galaxy S8 will run on the Android 7.0 Nougat operating system and it will have Bluetooth 5.0 that could stream two devices and Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac.
