"Pokemon Go" water festival is rocking the players and the company is planning to launch an increasing number of shiny Pokemon after the event. After Holiday event, it seems that the augmented reality game is limited to events only. The players also lost interest in the game.

Meanwhile, Niantic has successfully managed to revive the hype of the game as players started to become interested in their favorite mobile game again. If you have been living under a rock in recent months, then you have missed two huge additions to the game in the past 40 days. The two new additions are Generation 2 Pokemon with new Berries and Pokemon moves and Shiny Pokemon variants.

If "Pokemon Go" players to believe John Hanke the Niantic CEO then the flow of innovative content is not going to stop anytime soon. The game is expected to get two most anticipated updates this year. The updates must include Gym revamp and an actual player versus player battle system.

The latest "Pokemon Go" Water Festival will end on Mar. 29, but you might be able to catch your favorite Magikarp and Gyarados for more than a week. It is speculated that the water festival is the best way to launch the shiny Pokemon in the game and Niantic has launched it in an extraordinary way.

A shiny Pokemon in the "Pokemon Go" looks just like a regular Pokemon, but it shines when players caught it. It has three different colors and has same attributes and actions just like a regular Pokemon. They are just for the collection and not for the regular use.

The possibilities of catching a shiny Pokemon in "Pokemon Go" are just 1:8192 which was only improved to 1:4096. But with the current water festival, it is speculated that the developers are going to keep shiny little Pokemon in the game. So, you are now able to catch more Magikarp, Gyarados and many other Shiny Pokemon.
