Apple has officially released an iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus (PRODUCT) Red Special Edition, which are available in markets now. This limited edition comes with a gorgeous matte metallic texture, perfected by a silver Apple logo and with white front bezels. It will give iPhone fans a break from the usual metal body commonly available in the black, silver or gold color. But this special edition phone comes with a noble catch. The iOS technophiles will not only benefit for the most advanced smartphone experience it can deliver, but they will also contribute to the Global Fund which primarily aims to fights AIDS.

According to reports by Apple, the Cupertino-based company announced that the (PRODUCT) Red Special Edition of iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus will come in its vibrant red aluminum finish, in recognition of its decade partnership between Apple and (RED). Ms. Debrorah Dugan, (RED)'s CEO, said that Apple is the world's largest corporate donor to the Global Fund.

It has accordingly donated more than $130 million in their partnership with (RED). With the purchase of this limited edition phone, consumers will be able to provide an exceptional means of contributing to the Global Fund to the drive for an AIDS-free generation. Apple is donating a portion of its sales both at their retail and online stores around the world directly to the life-saving HIV/AIDS programs.

As per Mac Rumors, Apple has just begun accepting orders for (PRODUCT) RED iPhone 7 and 7 Plus on its online store, not only in the United States, but also to several other countries and regions around the globe. They are also available for in-store pickup on selected Apple Stores starting March 24th.

Reports also suggest that they also accepts order for the latest 9.7-inch iPad. The special edition models are available in 128GB storage capacity starting at US$ $749 - $849, while the 256GB is price tagged at US$869 - $969. According to Business Insider, the only caveat to this is that it comes with a higher price tag as this limited edition devices are at least a hundred dollar higher than the base price of other iPhone model; but with exception to the Jet Black iPhone 7 which is still the more expensive model than the other color options as of to date.
