Free! Has Two New Anime Films To Be Released: Two Compilation Films & New Anime Film In The Works; Kyoto Animation Announced

Kyoto Animation announced that there will be two compilations films of the all-time favorite anime entitled "Free!" The official announcement reveals two compilation films that will be focusing on two different characters such as Samezuka Academy Swim Club's Rin and Sousuke. The titles of the two compilation film in the works are the following:

The first film entitled "Free! Timeless Medley: Kizuna (Bonds)" focuses on the Iwatobi Swim Club while the second film entitled "Free! Timeless Medley: Yakusoku (Promise)" focuses more on Rin and Sousuke, according to Crunchyroll. In addition, there is a new movie for the same anime as Kyoto Animation is in the works to finish it. The movie will be entitled "Free! Take Your Marks" and will be released in Fall this year.

The official announcements are stated on the official website of "Free!" Furthermore, it currently announces the latest news on what's going on about the anime. For now, the latest news is the three total anime films that will be coming this Fall.

With each film focusing on the vital characters and groups in the anime, this will surely answer some questions and will fill blank spaces with fans. On the other hand, "Free! Take Your Marks" will be focusing Haruka's graduation, which takes fans to springtime in the said anime.

According to Aramajapan's report, "Free! Timeless Medley: Kizuna" will be on April 22 while "Free! Timeless Medley: Yakusoku" will be on July 1, as expected. Long-time fans will reminisce the episodes together with a new perspective, as they see chiseled abs and root for their "husbands" in these upcoming anime films.

Most of all, to add to the fan service, the five main characters of "Free!" will have another opening theme song that is entitled "Rising Free" that will go on sale this July 19, according to AnimeNewsNetwork.
