HTC U Ultra News, Updates, Features: Is the Phone Worth to Buy at $749? HTC U Ultra is a premium device holding its place in today's competitive mobile industry. The device costs nearly $750 with the glossy appearance and is a home to some cool high-end features. However, after a closer inspection, there are several issues circulating the Internet regarding the device.

The HTC U Ultra is a large phone, perhaps larger than the Galaxy Note 7, Pixel XL and iPhone 7. It is around 8mm thick that means it is not as slim as the devices offered by Samsung, Google, and Apple. With the larger screen, the device could be better than any other Smartphone in the world.

The good features about HTC U Ultra are that it runs on Snapdragon 821 processor, 5.7 inch Quad HD LCD display, 4GB of Ram, 64GB of storage, F/1.8 rear camera, Ultra Pixel front camera and USB-C with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0. The price tag of the phone says, "Top of the Line" that means you have to pay $749 for the privilege of owning a U Ultra and you are stuck on GSM networks only.

The foremost issue is the camera bump. The rear camera does not make any sense. And the absence of headphone is just unacceptable. You'll find a USB-C to 3.5mm adapter in the box, similar to the Moto Z, but what you won't find is an especially good reason for getting rid of the jack in the first place. It is speculated that HTC U Ultra just copied the Apple-like features rather than providing a good solution to the users.

HTC U Ultra offers poor battery which is just 60% of Google Pixel as reported by Android Police. Although the phone is having 3,000 mAH battery, it is not as powerful as expected by the users. Maybe it is due to the bigger display.  Besides drawback of battery, the Gorilla Glass can easily get scratches in just weeks. Is it worth to pay $749 for this phone?
