To mark the launch of the action role-playing video game “Mass Effect: Andromeda,” two retailers are offering bundle deals. At Amazon, a 500GB Xbox One and a physical copy of the newly launched game, plus a digital copy of “Ghost Recon: Wildlands’” Gold edition, sell for $300. In addition, Amazon adds as a bonus of $10 discount on the next Amazon video purchase and $10 credit for an Amazon Music Unlimited service similar to Spotify.

Two Pools Of Games

Besides the Amazon offer, Microsoft Store offers any of its Xbox One bundles, to include consoles with larger hard drives or recent games such as “Halo Wars 2.” The shopper could select two free games from a limited selection from two pools. The first pool is made up of older but worthwhile games such as “Rainbow Six Siege.” The second pool offers more recent choices such as “Mass Effect: Andromeda,” “Watch Dogs 2,” “Final Fantasy XV,” “For Honor” and “Halo Wars 2.”

For freebies, Microsoft Store offers a $10 price cut for a three-month subscription to Xbox Live Gold, $10 discount on a controller and $50 off on an Elite controller for buyers of the Xbox One, GameSpot reports. In early January, Electronic Arts, the publisher of “Mass Effect: Andromeda,” gave away the Standard Edition of “Mass Effect 2” under its Origin digital distribution platform. “Mass Effect 2” was the On the House promo of Electronic Arts for January 2017, Hot Hardware reports.

Selling Price

The publisher released “Mass Effect: Andromeda,” the follow-up to “Mass Effect 2” on March 21. It would release the follow-up game in Europe on March 23. On Origin, the newly launched game sells for $20, while the Deluxe version sells for $30.

After the roll out of “Mass Effect: Andromeda” in North America on Tuesday, game experts pointed out its numerous bugs and glitches. However, despite these faults, Tech Crunch insists the game developed by BioWare offers plenty of gameplay depth.
