Bethesda released its first major update on "Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited" today on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The update, dubbed as Homestead, is a free downloadable content that allows players to buy homes in Tamriel. From small apartments for mansions, players can own houses without worrying to secure a plot of lands. With enough Crowns, anyone can purchase home properties and even own opulent manors or islands.

Players can acquire their first home by completing the Homestead tutorial quest. After that, they will be able to customize their homes with decorating items like furniture and decors. Beds, chairs, table, books, paintings, lights and many others are available. Using the game feature called Housing Editor, players are free to choose between 2,000 decoration items to make their home as fancy as they want. You can even put a combat dummy or crafting assistant in your house if you want. These items can be obtained by purchasing, crafting, or trading.

There are 40 different houses players can buy in Homestead. The cheapest is a small room while the most luxurious is an entire island. These houses are based around 10 different races in "Elder Scroll's" but anyone can purchase any type of house they want regardless of their race. For details about Homestead, you can visit the official "Elder Scroll" guide.

Players in Tamriel can purchase more than one house. However, one character can only own one of each type of houses. Good thing, players' houses will be shared across multiple characters. There is also an option to change house's permission - visitor's access, guilds, or per-individual basis. You can ban specific individual if you want.

Among Homestead are other contents included in the 26GB update, 20GB on PS4, of "Elder Scrolls Online." This includes Master Crafting Writs, new Motifs, and updated wares of the vendors in Imperial City. There are also changes in the quest rewards from the five towns of Cyrodill. More information about the update can be read here.
