Google Pixel's success cannot be denied anymore. Just released last October, it has been considered as a threat in the competition of smartphones and it looks like there's no stopping for them. According to various rumors, there will be a predecessor for Google Pixel.

The flagship of the phone is rumored to be called as Google Pixel 2. Several experts in smartphones have been speculating and predicting that it will bring impressive specs and features.

In a report by Autonomy, they have been anticipating for Google Pixel 2's VR headset as part of the kit. They were suggesting that Google has been primarily focusing on hardware improvements, especially that it is already given that it will run under the newest operating system, Android Nougat.

Stuff is predicting that the new smartphone would come out with the new Android 8.0 mobile operating system update. With that, they are thinking that it could be paired with a Snapdragon 830 processor from Qualcomm.

The publications could be highly wrong with their predictions. There have been several reports suggesting that Google is currently testing a new chipset from Intel, which could be used in the upcoming Google Pixel 2.

Another feature expected that got people excited is Google Pixel 2's waterproofing technology. Various sources are saying that the next Google phone will incorporate this feature with camera technology that could bring the bars higher.

With all of these rumors, Google has yet to respond to them. The company has also yet to give specific details on the Google Pixel 2's development and release date, as new models of smartphones like Samsung Galaxy S8 and iPhone 8 are to be released to the public soon.

The new Google Pixel 2 is speculated that it would be launched in autumn, next year. But so far, no official statements are coming from Google.
