The Google Nexus smartwatch specs have leaked revealing a powerful LG-built competitor to the Samsung Gear 2. The Google Nexus smartwatch is anticipated to have a release date of sometime in June during Google I/O. Details about the device have now been revealed by @evleaks and show a 1.65-inch IPS LCD 280 x 280 display with 512MB of RAM, a 4GB internal storage and an unknown processor (if we had to guess we would say a Snapdragon variant). It is also unknown if there is a camera and fitness features.

The rival Samsung Gear 2 specs are very similar to the leaked specs of the Google Nexus smartwatch. The Gear 2 has a slightly better display with a 1.63-inch Super AMOLED 320 x 320 display, a 1.0-GHz, dual core processor with 512 MB of RAm and 4GB of internal storage. The Gear 2 has a 2.0-megapixel autofocus camera along with a suite of fitness features including a heart rate sensor and pedometer. The Samsung Gear 2 has a 300mAh battery capable of 3 days of regular usage and runs Tizen OS.

We don't have as many details about the Google Nexus smartwatch specs when it comes to camera but it is likely to also incorporate health features since Google is preparing to launch an Android SDK for wearables along with a fitness API according to Sundar Pichai so we are likely to see both soon.
