Google Winter Wonderlab is located in New York City, Chicago, Washington DC Area, New Jersey, Los Angeles and the Sacramento Area. The Winter Wonderlab launched in 6 cities last month in the U.S. Google created the temporary retail store which features Nexus 7 for people to experience a different shopping experience this holiday season. Visitors and shoppers can also check out all the latest features from Google Play Store at Winter Wonderlab.

Nexus 7 is available on display and for purchase at Google Winter Wonderlab. Google Nexus 7 is a lighter, thinner and faster version. The device retails for $229 and features portability, the world’s sharpest 7" tablet screen with over 2.3 million pixels and vibrant 1080p HD for video viewing.

Android leads in tablet market share taking over 60.8%. According to December’s latest report from International Data Corporation (IDC), worldwide tablet shipments are expected to reach 221.3 million units in 2013, down slightly from a previous forecast of 227.4 million but still 53.5 percent above 2012 levels. Shipment growth is forecast to slow to 22.2% year over year in 2014 to a total of 270.5 million units. By 2017, annual market growth will slow to single-digit percentages and shipments will peak at 386.3 million units, down from the previous forecast of 407 million units.

"In some markets consumers are already making the choice to buy a large smartphone rather than buying a small tablet, and as a result we've lowered our long-term forecast," said Tom Mainelli, Research Director, Tablets. "Meanwhile, in mature markets like the U.S. where tablets have been shipping in large volumes since 2010 and are already well established, we're less concerned about big phones cannibalizing shipments and more worried about market saturation."

Google Chromecast is compatible with Android smartphone and tablet devices. Also available for preview and purchase, Chromecast Android app lets users send online video and music. The app is compatible with Hulu Plus, Netflix, and YouTube from a smartphone, tablet, laptop or TV. Chromecast retails for $35.

THE SNOW GLOBE was created just for the holidays and features a giant Snow Globe (with fake snow) which creates slow motion video for people to keep and share with others. PLAY ZONES lets people try out Google’s newest products from Chromecast to the latest Chromebooks. Visitors can also find areas to listen to music, play games and watch video or go online. Winter Wonderlab also lets people order the latest devices on location.
