Is Google’s Nexus 7 the best Android tablet? Nexus 7 made the top pick as CNN Money's Best in Tech for small tablets.  Its cost is higher but also $169 less than the iPad mini. Competitive prices make it an even more attractive device. The reviews so far have been excellent comparing the new tablet as being better than the original version.

The tablet looks promising for emerging markets. With aggressive pricing and consumer appeal, the Nexus 7 is Google’s first Android tablet. Android OS by Google has been turning a lot of heads.  According to comScore, Google's Android smartphone operating system is now the most prevalent in the US, having overtaken previous market leader RIM. It is estimated the Android platform was running on an average of 31.2% of handsets in the three months ending January 31, compared with a 30.4% share for RIM's OS, and a 24.7% share of market for Apple's iOS.

Market expansion in U.K., Germany, France, Spain, and Japan is finally here. Nexus 7 will also launch in South Korea, Australia and Canada. Other International market release dates are yet to be announced. Nexus 7 2014 edition is expected to be out the second half of next year. There is question with Nexus 7 not even being 6 months on the market that Google may choose a different manufacturer than Asus for next year.
