It is very well known that Nokia 7, Nokia 8 and Nokia 9 are in the works. However, the latest leak claims to name the processors which might be used in upcoming 2017 Nokia Android Phones.

The HMD-owned brand has three mid-rangers on the market with two of them employing the Snapdragon 430 and one of them is having MediaTek MT6737. It will get better though as this roadmap reveals.

Confirming previous rumors, it says that the upcoming Nokia 7 will feature a Snapdragon 630 while the Nokia 8 will use a Snapdragon 660 and the Nokia 9 gets the top of the line Snapdragon 835 processor. GSM Arena also got word of an entirely new device, although that's hardly going to impress the power users. The Nokia 2 will be the company's cheapest phone which will have Snapdragon 212.

The sources have also revealed that while processors for Nokia 7, 8 and 9 are correct and processors powered by these are under testing, Nokia 2 may or may not run on Snapdragon 212. It might again be powered by a latest Mediatek processor. HMD is, however, keeping its options open considering the kind of Driver and Software update support MediaTek provides.

According to Nokia Power User, in a nutshell, this is the list of all Nokia Android Phones (launched + upcoming) and their processors. Nokia 2 to have Snapdragon 212, Nokia 3 to feature Mediatek MT6737, Nokia 5 to boast Snapdragon 430, Nokia 6 to have Snapdragon 430, Nokia 7 will sport Snapdragon 630, Nokia 8 to flaunt Snapdragon 660 and lastly, Nokia 9 will be powered by Snapdragon 835

It looks like there will be something for everyone by the time HMD announces its full 2017 Android smartphone lineup. However, with the Zeiss partnership the every launched Nokia smartphone will be a proper camera phone.
