Samsung Galaxy Note 8 could give some choices as the latest rumor suggests it will come in two storage variants, with both 64GB and 128GB models. The news is coming directly from the home country of Samsung.

According to the South Korea's Osen news outlet, there will be two storage variants of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 8: 64GB and 128GB. Both the variants will, apparently, boast a microSD card slot good for a further 256GB of bonus storage too.

According to the publication, this information is coming directly from a Samsung Electronics official, so it could well be true. However, still, there are reasons to doubt it. Aside from the fact that the 'official' has remained anonymous, there's also the fact that Samsung hasn't tended to offer multiple storage sizes in its recent flagships.

The Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus was a bit exception to that, with both 64GB and 128GB sizes available, but the larger model only released in a few locations. However, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is set to replace the Galaxy Note 7, which was only available in a 64GB variant.

Rumors suggest that the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will be coming with a 6.3-inch display as well as an Exynos series (8895) processor which will be paired with 6GB of RAM. The device will also boast a dual-camera setup on the rear side, which is something similar to that has been seen on the iPhone 7 Plus.

The handset is rumored to boast a 3,300 mAh battery and Android 7.1.1 Nougat as its operating system out of the box. Moreover, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is said to be the most expensive device from the Korean company till now. The device is expected to launch with a price tag of around $1000, geeky-gadgets.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is expected to see the light of the day at IFA 2017 in Berlin. The said event is the traditional launch time for the Note series handset.
