Bits and Chips have been historically accurate with most of their rumors and leaks. The latest series of tweets from the same suggests that the AMD Radeon RX Vega will boast a terrific price to performance ratio.

According to the leaks, it was given that AMD will be preparing for a Vega 20 GPU with the same character as the present Vega 10 GPUs but added twice precision hardware to the mix. It's also possible that AMD could have changed the plans and are focusing on the Navi for a proper FP64 capable GPU.

In one of their tweets, the publication has mentioned that AMD Radeon RX Vega graphics cards will confirm to be a superb card overall but won't do much for the HPC market. It says that Navi will be a good choice for AI/HPC market that will offer much higher levels of performance.

During the Computex, AMD has unveiled more details about their Vega GPUs, which is set to come in the later this year. According to the information, the latest graphics cards will carry the upcoming Vega 10 GPU. The chips are based on the new Vega architecture which is supposed to be an improvement over Polaris GCN 4.

For $999, the new AMD Radeon Pro Frontier Edition is undoubtedly a premium card. However, consumer Vega will be offering a much better price to performance ratio. Vega will reportedly have to price better than their Nvidia counterparts, as reported by Eteknix.

After such a long wait and hype, AMD has to deliver well on Vega and from all of the demos, it can be seen that the AMD looks to be quite competitive so far. Performance is expected at or beyond GTX 1080 levels.
