Motorola Moto Z Play Started Its Latest Android 7.1.1 Nougat Update For The Selected Users

It is reported that few of the Moto Z Play users have received the Android 7.1.1 Nougat update and it is coming with latest June 1, 2017, Android Security Patch. Motorola also has added several interesting facilities such as Video Calling Duo Application, Moto Mods v2.0, stability improvements as well as the Android 7.1.1 Nougat Update.

According to Tech Droider, it seems that not all users will get this Android 7.1.1 Nougat Update, but some selected users will get this update as this update is not coming to all devices at once. Until now few users have been received the latest Android 7.1.1 Update on their Moto Z Play. According to the instruction of the Motorola, the battery in user's phone should have at least 50 % charge.

As mentioned in fonearena, like the Moto G5 Series smartphones, the latest update is not bringing fingerprint gestures. On the Motorola Support Site, it is stated that Moto Z Play's Android 7.1.1 Update's Changelog is now live. It is expected that the smartphone will get the update soon. The more efficient notification controls, enhanced data saving features are some of the other features, which are included in this latest update.

For the users, who have not yet got the notification of the latest Software Update, they have to go Settings>About Phone>Software Updates and the downloading of the new update will start automatically. The soak testing program of Android 7.1.1 Nougat for the Moto Z Play smartphone has been started in India.

The Build number of the Android 7.1.1 Nougat OTA Update for the Moto Z Play is NPN26.107 and the size of the update is 981MB. It is expected that the final update of the soak test for all users will be available soon. In any urgency, users can also flash the soak test ZIP file manually.
