Google To Face A Class-Action Lawsuit For Bootloop Issue And Random Shutdown OF Nexus 6P

Latest updates suggest that Google would likely face a class-action lawsuit for the shutdown and boot loop issue of its Nexus 6P. According to reports, Google may likely face a lawsuit soon as the Nexus 6P is currently facing hardware and software issues, which causes the device to shut down untimely without any warning even with sufficient battery power.

It is reported that the issue has persisted and is evident from the complaint that many Nexus 6P users have been posting online. Nexus 6P users have resorted to different techniques in order to deal with the issues the device now face, but all to no avail. According to XDA Developers, the issue is believed to be associated with Android 7.0 on the device, but users who decided to flash their devices back to Android 6.0 Marshmallow continued to face challenges.

It is reported that the users who flashed their devices faced random boot-looping on the Nexus 6P. However, reports have it that Nexus 6P users who tried to contact the actual manufacturer of the device, Huawei were redirected to Google, according to Gizbot.

The issue currently making headlines is that a law firm in the United States is now preparing a case against Google with regards to the early random shutdowns and boot looping issue reported by several Nexus 6P users. It is reported that Chimicles & Tikellis LLP (C&T) is preparing a lawsuit against Google and has made a form available on their website in which Nexus 6P users who are affected by the issue can contact them and also receive their due compensation after the class action lawsuit.

Although many Nexus 6P users stated that the random shutdown and boot looping issue is caused by a software, the law firm confirmed that the issue is due to a faulty hardware when downgrading to Marshmallow did not extinguish the issue. As fans already know, Apple and LG are currently facing a similar situation as several lawsuits over issues that have been found on their devices have been filed against them.
A class action lawsuit was recently filed against LG over a boot loop issue that has affected some of its devices, like the LG G4, LG V10, Nexus 5X, LG V20 and the LG G5. Apple is also facing a similar situation to that of the Nexus 6P as a lawsuit with regards to an update that they released was recently filed. The lawsuit claims that it allegedly bricked hundreds of iPhones that had been serviced by third-party technicians.

Meanwhile, it is reported that the current issue facing the Huawei-made Nexus 6P smartphones is partly similar to the random shut down issues that Apple faced on its iPhone 6 and 6s devices. However, just like the boot loop issue, Huawei has maintained that the current issue with Nexus 6P is a software issue and that it has nothing to do with their hardware.
