Recent updates reveal that MSI GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Armor 11G is the first AIC Custom GPU now available in the market. According to reports, the new MSI GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Armor 11G is the first to make it store shelves among other competitors like AMD Vega-based video cards.

However, it is reported that although for now, there is no competition considering the fact that AMD is yet to launch its video cards and Radeon developers have not been competitive in high-end gaming for several years, does not mean the GTX 1080 Ti is the best device out there. Meanwhile, even in the absence of competition, fans always yearns for a better device with an upgraded performance.

According to Digital Trends, the GTX 1080 Ti is fast, but the device is not strong enough to play every modern game at maximum detail and 60 frames per second at 1440p resolution. The report also states that the situation becomes even more complicated when one uses a high-refresh monitor.

It is reported that the GTX 1080 is not adequate enough to power a 120Hz display at 1080p and that the card hit a 3DMark Fire Strike score above 20,000. the GTX 1080 Ti Armor 11G, is currently listed at Newegg but the device is out of Stock. The Armor 11GB card is priced at $710 which is said to be only $10 bump from the cost of the Nvidia's stock 1080 Ti GPU. However, Newegg includes an additional $10 for shipping cost.

The overclocked MSI GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Armor 11G GPU is reported to be faster than the non-OC Founder's Edition, thus making it worth the additional $10. Additionally, the new device has a clock speed of 1,531 MHz base, a boost compared to the 1,480 MHz base of the non-OC version.

The boost clock speed GTX 1080 Ti Armor 11G is increased from 1,582 MHz to 1,645 MHz, coupled with the dual MSI TORX fan setup responsible for cooling it down. According to reports, the GTX 1080 Ti Armor 11G is best suited for gaming laptops and reports have noted that Razer's upcoming three-screened Project Valerie laptop will likely be released with Nvidia's GTX 1080 GPU that is very much like MSI's GPU.

As stated above, MSI's GTX 1080 Ti Armor 11G is upgraded from the standard single blower fan to two conventional fans placed directly on top of the card and exhaust heat into the case. It is reported that the GTX 1080 Ti Armor 11G is designed in a way that reduces noise, because of the large fans. The new device need not spin quickly to deliver.
