The Seoul-based technology manufacturer has been reported to make a deal with a Korean Facial Recognition Company, Oez regarding its facial recognition software. LG decided to implement that feature to its latest LG G6 specs.

This new trait will be added to LG G6 specs via OTA (Out-The-Air) update in early June. This recognition software might be connected to the LG Pay Service that will also make its debut at the same time as the new firmware, as reported by AndroidHeadlines.

The OezFR software that will be added to LG G6 specs might be used to support the facial recognition verification option for secure payment in the Smartphone sector. If thing goes well, this will be the first time for the facial recognition feature to be used for contactless payments in Mobile.

Androidauthority reports that the amount size of the update added to LG G6 specs will be considerately small, between 3.5 and 5MB and it will also come with security measures to prevent hacking attempts. This information, however, brings pros and cons among customers as they worry whether or not the facial recognition software is secure to be used for payment verification and necessary to be added to LG G6 specs.

To recap, the LG G6 specs include a 5.7-inch IPS LCD 'Full Vision' QHD+ with a resolution of 1440x2880 pixels 564ppi and 18:9 aspect ratios. The LG G6 specs are also powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 as well as Adreno 530 GPU for graphic, coupled with 4GB of RAM and run on Android 7.0 Nougat.

With its remarkable camera feature, LG G6 specs become even more perfect. LG's latest phone boasts Dual-13MP sensors with f/1.8 aperture completed with OIS. LG G6 front camera also brings the laser autofocus, LED flash, geo-tagging, touch focus, HDR, face detection, and also support the video sound recording. For the rear camera, it has a 5MP with f/2.2 aperture and also compatible for video sound recording.
