Recently, latest Huawei Mate 9 made a groundbreaking in the US as its latest phablet hit the market. It even hailed as the best smartphone that can compete with the Galaxy, iPhones, and Pixel in the world.

According to CNET, Huawei Mate 9 has been available in the US market since January 6 for $599. However what makes it one of the best phablets is its impressive camera, powerful processor, and battery life.

Huawei Mate 9 has a 5.6-inch display, which makes it under "phablet" category - combined size format of smartphone and tablet. It is a well-built all metal frame that has a curved back that helps you to feel manageable despite its size.

Huawei Mate 9 has a dual-camera setup which has a 20MP monochrome lens and 12MP RGB lens with an F2.2 aperture. Like Apple iPhones, this phablet allows you to capture image creating an illusion of depth wherein you can focus the subject and blur the background, Business Insider reported. However, using its camera will take a keen and careful act to shot a good subject having a blurred background.

While Huawei Mate 9 has a Kirin processor, GPU, and 4GB of RAM which makes it even faster and allows you to do photo editing in Adobe Photoshop Express and Snapseed and streamed Netflix shows. While its software is an EMUI 5.0 based on an Android 7 Nougat wherein most of the apps have similar features from Google.

The battery of this phablet Huawei Mate 9 is 4000MAh, which means it will last up to 8-10 hours out of a 20-minute charge. But of course, its mileage may vary and will definitely shorten its battery life especially if you are a heavy user.

However having all these amazing specs the downside of this phablet Huawei Mate 9 is the prize, it is expensive compared to Huawei mate 8. At the same time, its Emotion IU isn't perfect for everyone.
