Recent leaks have revealed that the upcoming Xiaomi Mi6 and Xiaomi Mi6 plus will launch with jaw-dropping specs and features. The recent leak showed a spreadsheet of both the Mi6 and the Mi6 plus with their corresponding speculations.
Recently, there have been lots of leaks and speculations about the new Xiaomi Mi6, which has lead many fans to conclude that the device will probably launch any moment from now. Last week, a press render revealed the alleged gloss black variant of the new smartphone, which, among other things, featured a dual rear camera setup.
Meanwhile, it is also rumored that the upcoming device will sport a Quad HD 2K OLED display along with a 6GB RAM/. According to iGeekphone, it has already been confirmed that the new Xaiomi MI6 would probably be the first smartphone to be powered by the Snapdragon 835 2.45GHz processor in China.
However, fresh leaks on the highly anticipated smartphones reported by Slash Leaks have now revealed some very interesting specs and features. In terms of the operating system of the new devices, the Xiaomi Mi6 will reportedly run on MIUI 8 based on Android 6.0 and the Mi6 plus will run on MIUI 8 based on Android 7.0. In addition, both Xiaomi Mi6 and Xiaomi Mi6 plus will support GSM, TD-LTE, WCDMS, and LTE-FDD network.
The leak also suggests that the Xiaomi Mi6 will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, 2.45 GHz, quad-core as well as Adreno 540 for its GPUs. The standard unit for Xiaomi Mi6 will feature 4 GB RAM (expandable to 6 GB LPDDR4), but the Mi6 plus will sport 6GB LPDDR4. The Mi6 will have 32 GB + 64 GB + 128 GB UFS 2.0, the Mi6 plus will be shipped with 64 GB + 128 GB UFS 2.0.
It is also reported that the Mi6 plus will be equipped with an embedded rechargeable 4500 mAh Li-Po battery, while the Mi6 will be equipped with the same battery but with 3200 mAh. Apart from the features mentioned above, the leaked spreadsheet reported by Slash Leaks also note that the Mi6 and the Mi6 plus will feature a 5.15-inch and 5.7-inch full HD display with 1920 X 1080 resolutions respectively.
The two new devices will also sport an 8 MP Ultrapixel front camera, but the rear camera of the Xiaomi Mi6 will have a 19-MP Sony IMX4000 with a ½.3-inch lens. Meanwhile, the Mi6 plus will feature a 12 MP, Sony IMX 363 dual-camera.
