'Diablo 3' Latest News & Update: Season 10 Release Date Confirmed; New Necromancer DLC Details Revealed

Avid fans of Blizzard Entertainment's epic RPG "Diablo 3" have survived a massive amount of teasing from the game developer. Many players have been waiting for the "Diablo 3" season 10 to finally kick start and it is now confirmed.

According to MobiPicker, "Diablo 3" will conclude its 9th season and finally move forward to Season 10. The latter is undeniable great news for fans who have followed the game since its first installment many years ago. To top things off, the Necromancer DLC was also confirmed and Blizzard Entertainment even answered a few questions about the new class via a YouTube video.

The reason behind the staggeringly large amount of players waiting for "Diablo 3" Season 10 is the fact that the game will expand its platform availability. The same report claims that Blizzard is working on making the game playable on both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

As for the fans who are hoping for news regarding "Diablo 4," they were rendered utterly disappointed. During Blizzcon 2017, it was revealed that there will be no "Diablo 4," instead fans can hope for a "Diablo 3" remake.

Since "Diablo 4" is not happening, at least for now, fans can expect the "Diablo 3" remake to take its time arriving as well. Evidently, Blizzard Entertainment has been busy dishing out the new Necromancer class and proceeding with "Diablo 3" Season 10.

Despite the disappointment of some fans, Blizzard Entertainment has released some juicy details about the new Necromancer Class. PC Gamer has shared some interesting GIFs featuring several skills found in the Necromancer's arsenal.

As for the release date of the "Diablo 3" Necromancer DLC, all that was revealed is that the new content pack will be released in the second half of 2017.

The start date for "Diablo 3" Season 10 and the end of Season 9 was also disclosed by game developer Blizzard Entertainment. Season 9 will come to a close on March 17 at 5:00 pm PDT for North America. Players from Europe will see the season's end at 5:00 CET, while those from Asia will have it at 5:00 KST.

Meanwhile, the start date of "Diablo 3" season 10 will take place two weeks after the end of Season 9. North America will start season 10 on March 31.
