'Mass Effect Andromeda' Update: BioWare Exec Announces Game Will Have 'Full Nudity'

Feb 28, 2017 09:44 AM EST

Science-fiction video game series "Mass Effect" is not only known for having a quality third-person shooting experience but also for its mature content. So far, every entry of the "Mass Effect" series has been given an M rating for Mature in North America.

The latest entry in the series, "Mass Effect: Andromeda," has still no rating published by the Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB), according to an article written by Eddie Makuch Game Spot. But Bioware GM Aaryn Flynn took his Twitter account and suggested that fans could still receive the same rating.

Why is that so? Flynn, on his Twitter account, said that "Mass Effect: Andromeda" would not just have the usual partial nudity on the game but it go bold and have full nudity.

The preliminary rating for "Mass Effect: Andromeda" by the BioWare Social Network is an M rating and a description of having a "partial nudity" in the game. Flynn's new tweets suggest that the rating would be amended.

Just a week before its official launch, people are expecting the ESRB website to finally determine the rating of "Mass Effect: Andromeda." Game Spot has noted that it is possible for Flynn to joke about the rating. They have followed up BioWare for confirmation of such details.

Flynn also replied to a follower and made a joke about the nudity of "Mass Effect: Andromeda". He said that the game would have a "pretty good banging" because it is a "totally softcore space porn."

The ratings are given by ESRB for "Mass Effect" and "Mass Effect 3" was also given a "partial nudity" comment. However, the "Mass Effect 2" does not have the same comment.

"Mass Effect: Andromeda" will be launched on March 21 for PlayStaion 4, Xbox One, and PC. A multiplayer beta is expected to be launched at one point.

While fans are waiting for "Mass Effect: Andromeda," they can check out the latest news and updates of BioWare. One of them is having a day one patch.
