‘Final Fantasy’ XIV Latest News & Update: Stormblood Expansion Will Tackle a New Continent, Game Content, New Dungeons and New Character Classes

"Final Fantasy XIV: Stormblood" expansion was predicted to be a hit which introduces a new continent, game content and character classes. The first character was a Red Mage; the second one features a new Samurai class character, recently announced by its developer Square Enix.

"Final Fantasy XIV: Stormblood" expansion was recently announced as part of Final Fantasy's Fan Festival event, as stated by the reports of Gamespot. Square Enix director Naoki Yoshida claimed that the new Samurai is a melee DPS type which uses Katana and not correlated with other Final Fantasy characters.

The news for "Final Fantasy XIV: Stormblood" was supported by a trailer for the game's expansion opening a cinematic that shows and experience the Othard; one of the "Final Fantasy" game's three main Continents where Stormblood will focus along with the newest Samurai and Red Mage, as reported by Game Spot. The game has also a new player hub in Kugane which serves as a new town portal, with a residential area name Shirogane, and various dungeons are not exempted which is also called Tha Azim Steppe and Yanaxia.

 "Final Fantasy XIV: Stormblood" developer team was also working on an aquatic mini-game from "Final Fantasy X," a version of Blitzball. In the opening cinematic, it shows a giant floating sphere filling up with water; there's a connection from it to Spira in terms of spiritual connection.

The developer of "Final Fantasy XIV: Stormblood" Square Enix has recently revealed the class and other information regarding with the new upcoming expansion during Final Fantasy XIV Fan Festival at Frankfurt, based from the reports of US Gamer. Final Fantasy franchise was predicted to double its capacity of estates; a moving forward process.

Along with the Final Fantasy XIV Fan Festival event, developer Square Enix will introduce a Final Fantasy series composer Nobuo Uematsu. His work as a composition for the main theme of "Final Fantasy XIV: Stormblood" called "Revolutions" will be sung and performed by Susan Calloway.

"Final Fantasy XIV: Stormblood" was set to launch on June 20, 2017, for consoles PS4 and PC-PS3. This will bring new areas to survey, new residential areas, dungeons, raids, and the new class; Samurai and the Red Mage.
