Last Oct. 18, 2016, Rockstar Games used the social media to claim the release date for the new upcoming game "Red Dead Redemption 2" that will launch this fall of 2017. The trailer of the game was also released by Rockstar last Oct. 20, 2016.

Details of "Red Dead Redemption 2" came after a great deal of speculation that the game can be pre-ordered via Amazon, GameStop and Game with prices starting from $57 up to $74 only. As claimed by the reports of PC Advisor UK, "Red Dead Redemption Developer Take-Two" CEO Strauss Zelnick suggested that the franchise must have a new game in the future, during the last Cowen and Company Analyst conference way back in 2014.

The game "Red Dead Redemption" is a western world action-adventure game that was released bank in 2010 and fans have been impatiently waiting for its news installment since then. The original game of the series was titled "Red Dead Revolver," way back in 2004. From the six years alteration between "Read Dead Revolver" and "Red Dead Redemption," it was predicted that if "Red Dead Redemption 2" didn't fall last year, 2017 will be the perfect fit.

According to Express UK, "Red Dead Redemption 2" has only been set to consoles such as PS4 and Xbox and not for PC. But many fans are pleading for its PC platform release, right now online petitions are calling for the game sequel to be dropped on Windows which Rockstar is trying to work on.

The Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick once claimed that he didn't expect the success of "Red Dead Redemption 2" game trailer with so many views. He added that fans can expect an incredible depth that will be an offer by the game with its great gameplay elements and storyline.

Meanwhile, "Red Dead Redemption 2" game map will feature the Gear Plains and the home to Blackwater where the first installment was set. Developers claimed that the map was still unfinished and still on its progress so that leads us to the prediction of New Bordeaux, the map area of "Mafia 3"; also under the company name Take-Two Interactive.
