2017 is a year that's full of surprises from the former heavyweights in the smartphone industry has now risen and making their big returns. Aside from Nokia, Blackberry is now ready to launch their newest QWERTY built keyboard smartphone the Blackberry Mercury.

Blackberry's official Twitter page recently posted a teaser photo of their latest Blackberry Mercury smartphone that will be launched this Feb.25 at exactly 7 PM CET on MWC 2017 in Barcelona, Spain. It is said to be one of the biggest events for the Blackberry Company since they released the Blackberry Z10 back in 2013.

The Blackberry Mercury Model has recently teased from the 2017 Consumers Electronic Show (CES) event, according to MobileNApps. At that time, the company was just revealed the product feature in terms of its hardware and software.

For this coming MWC 2017, the Company will bring their latest smartphone device Blackberry Mercury which was built with new radical design including an all metallic body around a 4.2-inch touchscreen. Blackberry Mercury will be equipped with its trademark, a physical QWERTY keyboard. The keyboard will also allow users to touch scrolling the keys to interact the icons on the display screen. It also gives the user an easier swipe experience with its keyboard to scroll through emails and web pages, saving time from constantly switching between two inputs.

As reports claimed by Express UK, the Blackberry Mercury will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor, built with 3GB of RAM. It also features a 3.5mm headphone jack, a USB Type- C-port and also a 3,400 mAh battery. The latest device was also predicted to be made by Sony IMX378 sensors similar to Google Pixel and Pixel XL smartphones, a stunning 12-megapixel camera.

Blackberry has not yet released any official price and its availability for the upcoming Blackberry Mercury. But it was predicted to be launched in a mid-range sector and also expected to run Android 7.0 Nougat.
