Facebook's Mobile Audience Network allows users to monetize their iOS and Android apps with Facebook ads. After integrating the Facebook SDK, advertisers can use the over 50 targeting options on Facebook to find their audience inside the user app. The Android SDK can be accessed by allowing the user to sign in to the app with their Facebook identity. Other features such as Custom Stories and Open Graph lets apps tell stories on Facebook through a structured, strongly typed API. App Events allow users to understand the actions taken by users within the app.

The Android SDK also features Ads Reach for the right people where they are most engaged, in News Feed. Drive installs with Mobile App Install Ads. Increase user engagement with Mobile App Engagement Ads. Graph API The Graph API allows the user to get data in and out of Facebook's social graph. Android users can query data, post new stories, upload photos, and more. Send Requests Allow users to send requests to their friends from the app.

There are currently over 1 billion people that actively use Facebook. According to Barrons, Shares of Facebook (FB) are up $1.78, or 3%, at $61.56, after the company yesterday unveiled at its “F8” developer conference in San Francisco its “Audience Network,” a system for placing advertisements in any mobile application, a development that had been anticipated by the Street, and that has encouraged bulls on the stock.
